Award winning photographer, Peggy Barnett, works with major design firms and Fortune 500 corporations. She graduated from Music and Art High School and then from The Cooper Union with a BFA degree in painting.
Her still-life work has won many awards for its distinctive style and vision and has appeared in national Annual Reports and corporate publications across the USA.
Her travel photographs are based on a personal philosophy that is simple and evocative: each picture is a memory of a time and place that she wishes to keep for life. She enjoys sharing those moments with others and hopes that they will bring tranquility to those who view them.
Her black & white portraits are taken with the same philosophy as a landscape: find a memory in the moment and capture it forever in time. The deep personal feelings of her subjects are found and expressed simply and with truth.
After working in NYC for 40 years Peggy has moved to the Great Northwest. She lives and has her studio in Woodinville, WA., near Seattle. WA
